Bethel’s Pre-Engineering major is a 3-2 program partnership with Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. In other words, you will transfer to Tennessee Tech after your third year at Bethel, and you’ll complete two more years at Tennessee Tech and receive an engineering degree from Tennessee Tech as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from Bethel!
Advantages of Beginning at Bethel
One of the biggest advantages of completing your first three years at Bethel is that our small teacher/student ratios and the nurturing environment we provide will ensure that you successfully transition from high school to a difficult curriculum like engineering. Once you undertake the upper-division engineering courses at Tennessee Tech, we will have helped you learn how to successfully research and study – two components that are “musts” for completing the engineering degree.
A Unique Component
Bethel’s community has long been lauded as one that inspires and changes lives. We’ve found that this in turn inspires our students to find ways to use their degrees to make the world a better place. In today’s competitive job market, your Bethel degree and the value added from such inspiration will surely set you apart among many who will simply have an engineering degree.
