Bethel is proud to offer the Hendrix Scholarship Competition, a premier program established in 1988 by
Mr. Willard R. Hendrix of Nashville, Tennessee.
The competition, which occurs in February of each year, is a two-day event where students are tested in academic ability. The winner of the competition will earn full tuition, room and board. A runner-up will earn full tuition. All others who compete will be considered for Bethel’s remaining institutional grants. In order to compete, you must be an incoming freshman with at least a 3.25 GPA and a 24/1090 or above ACT/SAT score.
In order to compete for the Hendrix Scholarship Competition, you must complete the Hendrix Application and submit the following to the Office of Admission:
An official 7th Semester transcript
Official ACT or SAT scores
One letter of recommendation from a high school counselor, teacher, club/ organization sponsor, youth pastor, or pastor

You will be able to access the application on-line as early as September. The application deadline is February 11, 2008. Also, don’t forget to forward transcripts, test scores and recommendations by this date as well.
You will be notified once you submit all necessary documentation and are accepted for admission.
