English Position  

As a result of extraordinary growth, Bethel College seeks candidates for a faculty member (rank open) in English to begin Fall 2008.  Area of specialization is open.  The position entails teaching freshman composition and upper-level courses in the area of specialization. Bethel College is a private, liberal-arts college with an annual enrollment of approximately 2000 traditional and non-traditional students.  The college is situated in McKenzie, Tennessee (a town of 5,400); Bethel is halfway between Memphis and Nashville (110 miles from each).  Bethel College is the only college affiliated with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Bethel is chartered by the State of Tennessee and accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
