Library Director, H. B. Kelly and the entire library staff are always working to provide the faculty of Bethel College with the appropriate resources and assistance to complement their various curriculum needs.
The Library has an Annual Program Allocation Budget for new resources to support faculty needs. Part of the total dollar amount of the Library’s budget that is set aside for the acquisition of new materials is split into categories that correspond to each Bethel Degree Program or Department. These funds are then used to purchase new materials that are relevant to each category based on the rigorous academic standards of H. B. Kelly and/or any Faculty Member that expresses interest. Frequently, the budget allocation for any specific category is not fully spent primarily because of faculty non-participation. The Library encourages faculty to make use of this opportunity to help make the Library an integrated part of the Bethel Curriculum.
