UPCOMING EVENTS FOR THE FALL 2007 SEMESTER
Note: All activities are free to Bethel Students

August:
     Friday 8/24 - WELCOME BACK MIXER. 8:00 p.m. on the Student Center Patio. Food, music, and games are the ingredients for this get-together. Wear your best (appropriate for a Christian college) conversation-starting t-shirt. There will be a prize for the shirt voted most interesting, as well as one for the winner of the "Mixer Mania" game.
     Tuesday 8/28 - MOVIE NIGHT. 8:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Popcorn, soda, and Giveaways after the show.

September:
     EVERY TUESDAY IN SEPTEMBER is Exercise Night. 7:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Work out to exercise tapes, learn dances, try your skill at Dance Dance Revolution, or just come outside and play weird games.
     Friday 9/07 - Game Night in the Oasis 7:00 p.m. We'll be hosting a Spades Tournament this night, so find a partner, sign up with Ms. Victoria and win cash! All the other board games will be available as well as soft drinks and snacks.
     Thursday 9/13 - Karaoke Night. 8:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Snacks, soft drinks, and Music!
     Monday 9/17 - Constitution Day!! Come observe this special day in the Student Center. We'll have information available on the bulletin boards, and questionnaires - one or two of which will be worth $$.
     Thursday 9/20 - Craft Night in the Oasis at 7:00 p.m. This is something new we're trying once a month. Space will be limited, and we will have a sign-up sheet ahead of time. Our first night will be cake decorating.
     Monday 9/24 - Mind Tripping! Come see mentalist Katalina in the Oasis at 8:00 p.m. She'll tell you what's on your mind!
     Friday 9/28 - Movie Night in the Oasis 8:00 p.m. Popcorn, soft drinks, and drawings after the movie.
     Saturday 9/29 - Music in the Grill. The Anna Ross Project from Nashville will be bringing their great sound to Bethel for a free concert.

October:
     EVERY TUESDAY IN OCTOBER is Exercise Night. 7:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Work out with exercise tapes, learn dances, or try your skill at DDR.
     Friday 10/5 - Craft Night moves outside this month. At 7:00 p.m. on the Student Center Patio we'll have Tie Dye Night. Come create some wearable art.
     Monday 10/15 thru Saturday 10/20 - HOMECOMING WEEK!! Our theme this year is "The Seasons of Bethel." Everyone is encouraged to get involved in Spirit Week, making floats, the Homecoming Court, attending the bon fire and coffee house, and of course the Game on Saturday. Watch for announcements!
     Monday 10/22 - Movie Night. 8:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Popcorn, soda, and giveaways after the show.
     Thursday 10/25 - It's the Great Pumpkin Game Show! 8:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Come be a contestant! Answer questions about old and new scary movies and about Halloween History & traditions. Win cash and weird stuff!!
     Tuesday 10/30 - Come Make a Movie!! Starts at 10:00 a.m. in the Oasis. Be a rock star, fly a magic carpet, or ride a motorcycle in your own movie, and take home the DVD.

November:
     EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT is Exercise Night. 7:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Work out with exercise tapes, learn dances, or try your skill at DDR.
     Thursday 11/8 - Craft Night in the Oasis. 7:00 p.m. Are you thinking Christmas yet? Come make an ornament or two to take home for your tree. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up ahead of time.
     Friday 11/9 - BIG FAT BINGO!!! 7:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Great prizes, Great snacks. Come win stuff!
     Monday 11/12 - Movie Night. 8:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Popcorn, soda, and giveaways after the show.
     Thursday 11/15 - Cleary You Crystals in the Oasis. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Have your image laser etched in a crystal block. Students only, and one per student.
     Friday 11/30 - Karaoke Night. 8:00 p.m. in the Oasis. Snacks, soft drinks, music and fun.

December:
     WATCH FOR STUDY BREAKS THE FIRST THREE DAYS OF FINAL EXAMS.
